Areas we serve
Training and field services where your crews work.
North Dakota crews cover a lot of ground between jobs, and a class two hours away costs a full day of production. We train Minot area operations live online on Central time, or on site at the pit when the whole crew needs the hours at once, and we come with the paperwork an inspector asks for.
North central North Dakota runs on sand and gravel pits, scoria and cinder operations, and crushed stone for roadbuilding, with lignite coal mines and the Williston Basin oilfield work filling out the map. Surface sand, gravel, and stone pits are Part 46 operations, where new miners need 24 hours, experienced miners need 8, and every miner needs an 8-hour annual refresher. Coal mines fall under Part 48 regardless of whether they are surface or underground, and we run both programs.
We come to you
Every service on this page travels. We teach classes in your shop, trailer, or pit parking lot in Minot, write plans from your own records, and perform evaluations on your equipment. Travel is quoted up front, with no per-mile surprise on the invoice.
Live instructor-led, never computer-based
When you train online, an MSHA instructor teaches the class live on camera in real time. There are no self-paced modules, recorded videos, or slideshow quizzes, and miners can ask questions and get answers the same day.

How classes run
We train crews across Ward, Renville, McHenry, Bottineau, Mountrail, Burke, and Pierce counties. Live online classes run on Central time, and on-site dates are quoted with instructor travel up front.
Live online classes are taught in real time by an MSHA instructor, never as a self-paced computer-based course, and require a computer, webcam, and valid photo ID. Every miner leaves with a certificate and a 5000-23 form filed to your training records.
