Field services

Measured, documented, and written for your mine

Hearing conservation, dust sampling, HazCom, mobile equipment plans, inspections, and full program evaluations. Every service ends with a document you can put in front of an inspector.

What we do at your site

Take one service or the whole year. Pricing depends on the operation, so every quote follows a short conversation.

Hearing Conservation Testing & Assessments

Audiometric testing and noise programs that hold up to review.

We run audiometric testing, noise monitoring, and hearing protector evaluations, then build the written program and recordkeeping that keeps your hearing conservation obligations defensible.

  • Baseline and annual audiograms
  • Noise exposure monitoring and dosimetry
  • Hearing protector fitting and attenuation review
  • Standard threshold shift follow-up
  • Written hearing conservation program

Mobile Equipment Safety Plans

Traffic, berms, and operator qualification written for your site.

Site-specific mobile equipment plans covering traffic patterns, dumping and loading areas, berm standards, pedestrian separation, and operator qualification requirements.

  • Site traffic control and haul road review
  • Berm, dump point, and stockpile standards
  • Pedestrian and light vehicle segregation
  • Operator training and qualification matrix
  • Equipment inspection schedules

Mine Inspections

Pre-MSHA readiness inspections with a correction plan.

A walk-through against the standards inspectors cite most, documented with photos and prioritised corrections so findings are fixed before an inspector writes them down.

  • Pre-inspection readiness walk-through
  • Guarded machinery and electrical checks
  • Housekeeping, access, and egress review
  • Photo-documented findings register
  • Prioritised corrective action plan

HazCom Programs

Chemical inventory, SDS control, labeling, and training.

Built to the HazCom standard as it applies to mining operations: a current chemical inventory, controlled SDS access, container labeling, and training records that match your crew.

  • Chemical inventory and SDS audit
  • Labeling and secondary container controls
  • Written HazCom program
  • Worker training and recordkeeping
  • Annual program review

Dust Assessments & Testing

Respirable dust and silica sampling with real controls.

Personal and area sampling for respirable dust and crystalline silica, interpreted against current exposure limits, with practical engineering and administrative controls.

  • Personal respirable dust sampling
  • Crystalline silica exposure assessment
  • Area and source sampling
  • Exposure limit comparison and reporting
  • Dust control recommendations

Mine Safety Evaluations

A full program gap analysis across 30 CFR.

A complete evaluation of your safety program: training records, plans, inspections, exposure monitoring, and documentation, scored against the regulations that apply to your operation.

  • Program and documentation gap analysis
  • Training record audit
  • Written plans review
  • Exposure and health program review
  • Prioritised roadmap with owners and dates

On-Site Group Training

MSHA-certified instructor teaching your crew at your mine.

We bring the Part 46 or Part 48 class to your operation instead of sending your crew to us. New miner and annual refresher classes are $1,699 per day; task training is $1,199 per day with a two-day minimum. All rates are exclusive of per diem, mileage, and hotel.

  • Part 46 or Part 48 curriculum matched to your commodity
  • Site-specific hazard walk-through built into the day
  • Scheduling around shift change and production
  • Rosters and MSHA 5000-23 forms issued from the class
  • Underground classes: 7 miner minimum (new miner), 10 (refresher)

Not sure which of these you need? Tell us about the operation and we will scope it.

How a project usually runs

Most operators start with a full safety evaluation and build the year from there: training before new hires, dust and noise sampling on a schedule, and a readiness walk-through ahead of MSHA.

  1. Assess. We start at your site or with your records and identify what applies to your operation, crew size, and commodities.

  2. Test & Inspect. Sampling, audiometric testing, and readiness inspections give you measured data instead of assumptions.

  3. Train. Part 46 and Part 48 instruction online or on site, with records issued for every miner who completes.

  4. Document. Written plans, findings, and corrective actions delivered in a format that stands up to an inspector.
