MSHA training for Baytown and the upper Gulf Coast
Part 46 and Part 48 training for sand and gravel dredging, industrial mineral plants, and contractors along the Houston Ship Channel corridor.
Areas we serve
Training and field services where your crews work.
Baytown sits where the ship channel industry meets the sand and gravel operations that feed it, and a lot of the crews here move between a pit, a plant, and a terminal in the same month. We make sure the training they carry matches the mining hours they actually work.
Around Baytown the work is sand and gravel dredging along the San Jacinto and Trinity drainages, industrial sand and mineral processing plants, aggregate terminals handling barge and rail material, and ready-mix plants serving the corridor. Surface sand, gravel, and industrial mineral operations are Part 46, with 24 hours for a new miner, 8 for an experienced miner, and an 8-hour annual refresher for everyone.
We come to you
Every service on this page travels. We teach classes in your shop, trailer, or pit parking lot in Baytown, write plans from your own records, and perform evaluations on your equipment. Travel is quoted up front, with no per-mile surprise on the invoice.
Live instructor-led, never computer-based
When you train online, an MSHA instructor teaches the class live on camera in real time. There are no self-paced modules, recorded videos, or slideshow quizzes, and miners can ask questions and get answers the same day.

How classes run
We train crews across Harris, Chambers, Liberty, Brazoria, and Galveston counties, including Baytown, Highlands, Mont Belvieu, Crosby, and Deer Park. Online live classes run on Central time, and on-site dates are available for full shift crews.
Live online classes are taught in real time by an MSHA instructor, never as a self-paced computer-based course, and require a computer, webcam, and valid photo ID. Every miner leaves with a certificate and a 5000-23 form filed to your training records.
