Areas we serve

Training and field services where your crews work.

Rogue Valley aggregate comes from hard rock quarries and river gravel, and most of the crews working them are small enough that losing one person to a class shows on the schedule. We keep seats open on the calendar and file the paperwork back to you the same week.

Southern Oregon mining is crushed andesite and basalt quarries, sand and gravel pits along the Rogue and Applegate rivers, and the ready-mix, asphalt, and masonry suppliers that serve valley construction. Surface stone, sand, and gravel operations are Part 46: 24 hours for a new miner, 8 hours for an experienced miner, and an 8-hour annual refresher for everyone. Underground and metal work follows Part 48.

We come to you

Every service on this page travels. We teach classes in your shop, trailer, or pit parking lot in Medford, write plans from your own records, and perform evaluations on your equipment. Travel is quoted up front, with no per-mile surprise on the invoice.

Live instructor-led, never computer-based

When you train online, an MSHA instructor teaches the class live on camera in real time. There are no self-paced modules, recorded videos, or slideshow quizzes, and miners can ask questions and get answers the same day.

Operations we train in Medford

  • Crushed andesite and basalt quarries
  • Sand and gravel pits along the Rogue River
  • Ready-mix, asphalt, and masonry plants
  • Crushing spreads and portable plants
  • Contract drillers, blasters, and hauling crews

How classes run

We train crews across Jackson, Josephine, Douglas, and Klamath counties, including Grants Pass, Ashland, Central Point, and Roseburg. Online live classes run on Pacific time, and on-site dates are quoted with instructor travel.

Live online classes are taught in real time by an MSHA instructor, never as a self-paced computer-based course, and require a computer, webcam, and valid photo ID. Every miner leaves with a certificate and a 5000-23 form filed to your training records.
