MSHA training for Boise and southwest Idaho operations
Part 46 and Part 48 training for Treasure Valley sand and gravel pits, basalt quarries, and mine contractors across southwest Idaho.
Areas we serve
Training and field services where your crews work.
The Treasure Valley is one of the fastest growing construction markets in the Northwest, and the gravel pits and basalt quarries feeding it run hard to keep up. We keep those crews trained on a fixed calendar so a new hire is never waiting on a seat.
Southwest Idaho mining centers on sand and gravel pits along the Boise and Snake rivers, crushed basalt quarries, and the ready-mix, asphalt, and masonry plants that serve valley construction. Nearly all of it is surface work under Part 46: 24 hours for a new miner, 8 hours for an experienced miner, and an 8-hour annual refresher for everyone. Underground, phosphate, and metal operations elsewhere in the state fall under Part 48.
We come to you
Every service on this page travels. We teach classes in your shop, trailer, or pit parking lot in Boise, write plans from your own records, and perform evaluations on your equipment. Travel is quoted up front, with no per-mile surprise on the invoice.
Live instructor-led, never computer-based
When you train online, an MSHA instructor teaches the class live on camera in real time. There are no self-paced modules, recorded videos, or slideshow quizzes, and miners can ask questions and get answers the same day.

How classes run
We train crews across Ada, Canyon, Gem, Boise, Elmore, and Twin Falls counties, including Meridian, Nampa, Caldwell, Eagle, and Mountain Home. Live online classes run on Mountain time, and on-site dates are quoted with instructor travel up front.
Live online classes are taught in real time by an MSHA instructor, never as a self-paced computer-based course, and require a computer, webcam, and valid photo ID. Every miner leaves with a certificate and a 5000-23 form filed to your training records.
