Areas we serve

Training and field services where your crews work.

Coastal Bend operations are spread thin along the bay, which makes getting a crew to a class the hardest part of staying compliant. We run the training live online on Central time, and we come to your plant or dock when the whole crew needs it at once.

Port Lavaca area mining centers on sand and gravel pits and dredging along the coastal plain, industrial sand and mineral processing, shell and caliche operations, and the aggregate terminals that move material by barge. Surface sand, gravel, and industrial mineral work is Part 46: 24 hours for a new miner, 8 for an experienced miner, and an 8-hour annual refresher for every miner. Underground and other mineral operations fall under Part 48.

We come to you

Every service on this page travels. We teach classes in your shop, trailer, or pit parking lot in Port Lavaca, write plans from your own records, and perform evaluations on your equipment. Travel is quoted up front, with no per-mile surprise on the invoice.

Live instructor-led, never computer-based

When you train online, an MSHA instructor teaches the class live on camera in real time. There are no self-paced modules, recorded videos, or slideshow quizzes, and miners can ask questions and get answers the same day.

How classes run

We train crews across Calhoun, Victoria, Jackson, Matagorda, Wharton, Refugio, and Aransas counties. Live online classes run on Central time, and on-site dates are quoted with travel for bay-area operations.

Live online classes are taught in real time by an MSHA instructor, never as a self-paced computer-based course, and require a computer, webcam, and valid photo ID. Every miner leaves with a certificate and a 5000-23 form filed to your training records.
